What Can I expect from an AMS?

One of our experienced technicians will attend your home or business and carry out the following scope of works:

  1. Washing return air filters

  2. Flushing out condensate drain line

  3. Testing condensate drain pump (when installed)

  4. Cleaning indoor heat exchanger and facia cover

  5. Testing system operation (heating and cooling)

  6. Testing mechanical motors

  7. Checking refrigerant gas circuit

  8. Recording supply and return air temperatures

  9. Cleaning outdoor heat exchanger

  10. Providing a report on condition and performance

Why is a Deep Clean Service (DCS) required?

When an AMS is not regularly carried out, the air conditioner can make the perfect breeding ground for mould, fungi and bacteria. This is caused by micro-contaminants bypassing the filters, where they begin to breed within the dark, moist conditions of the air conditioner. This is very similar to a refrigerator when switched off for a period of time. Untreated, this circulates throughout your home or business, affecting Asthma and allergy sufferers, children and the sick.

Residential DCS from £99 per indoor unit.

Commercial DCS from £149 per indoor unit, with discounts available on multiple units.

(Commercial prices are subject to VAT)

What can I expect from a DCS?

One of our highly trained technicians will attend your home or business and carry out the following tasks:

  1. The indoor unit is dismantled to expose the internal workings where mould and other contaminates like to breed.

  2. The coil (heat exchanger), drainage system and fan barrel are then treated with a user-friendly cleaning agent.

  3. Once penetrated, the cleaning agent is washed off using our specialist in house equipment.

  4. These components are then dried and treated with anti-mould protection.

  5. Return air filters are washed and then treated in the same way.

  6. The unit is re-assembled, cleaned, tested and ready for use.
